Total Canine Care is a holistic pet food store that offers only the best. We carry all natural dog and cat food, we offering all positive training, pet sitting, dog walking and more. We have two certified positive reinforcement trainers on staff and do not believe in the “can't teach an old dog new tricks” idea. No matter what age or what behavioral issues you are having, we can help! We know all about pet nutrition and can handle allergy reports and find a food to meet your pet’s needs.      Total Canine Care was started by a lady name Laura in 2004 she offered dog training and had some toys and treats and one pet food. She had the plan of opening an all positive store. The military called her family away and she sold the store. Shelby bought the store in 2006 and added even more great quality holistic pet food, toys, treats and training. Shelby had a baby and her husband got out of the army so they moved back home.
     I am Leah owner of Total Canine Care now. I bought Total Canine Care November 2010 from Shelby. I was training out of my home and pet sitting when I met Shelby while doing my Externship with Animal Behavioral College. I had been training dogs for five years with no certification, and wanted to train dogs the best way possible with the best results. I am now an ABC Mentor, an AKC CGC evaluator, a TADSAW service dog trainer, and work with some of the best trainers in the country to keep learning more. I have been working with local rescues for four years now to help them get more dogs adopted. I have three German Shepherds a Mastiff and a Boston terrier - Pug mix. Some of my dogs have skin and food problems, so I have studied nutrition from raw food diets to can food to kibble. I have seen many allergy reports and have always been able to help someone find the perfect food for their pet. My whole life I have worked with horses, dogs, cats, chickens, cows, goats, birds, and small animals, it is a great passion of mine.
